These Pizza Roll Ups are so simple and so delicious. Kid approved! Best part….It’s super fun and easy for little ones to assemble.
I handed over all the ingredients and let Bailey work her pizza making magic.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- package of pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- pizza crust
Squeeze + spread + sprinkle with cheese. (save a little cheese to sprinkle on top)
Loottttsss of pepperoni. Is it even possible to have too much pepperoni? I think not!
Yummmmm. This would make for an easy appetizer too. Maybe with a little bowl of ranch dressing for dipping?!?! Made you hungry, huh? 🙂
Roll it up lengthwise and slice in 3/4 inch slices. I did mine closer to 1 inch slices.
Place pizza roll ups on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or use a silicone baking mat like I did below. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Silpat brand is by far the best. But, I found this knock-off on Amazon for $7.95 and it does the trick. We’ve used it with cookies too. And it cleans up easily. You can check it out here:
Silicone Non-stick Baking Mat, Belle Cuisine, 11 5/8 X 16 1/2-inches
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
Bailey is back in summer camp and I’m back to packing her a lunch everyday. I don’t know about you, but if I had to make another turkey + cheese sandwich, I was going to lose my shit. I mean, I like a turkey sandwich and all. But, every single day? No thanks. These are the key to breaking up the monotonous lunch routine. I packed Bailey two with a side of ranch. Homegirl was stoked when she opened that lunchbox 🙂
Pizza is kinda my thang, so clearly I was in heaven.
You’re kids are sure to love these and I’m sure you will too!!
