{friday faves}

Outfit Details: Denim | Top | Golden Goose | Pink Bag | Necklace | Bracelets

Well hello Friday! Currently in the thick of 75 hard. This shit isn’t called “hard” for no reason. It challenges me in a different way each day. Today I really, really don’t want to read. Yesterday it took everything in me to not have a piece of Steve’s Pizza (my absolute favorite) that Cory picked up. Tomorrow will be something equally challenging no doubt. All in all, feeling pretty good! I got in my 45 minutes out outdoor workout this morning with a girlfriend. Walking and talking is so good for the soul.

I’ve bought a few new things lately that I’m freaking in love with – everything from fashion items to home and more so I wanted to do another “friday faves” post for you today!

WHAT I’M WEARING |

This outfit on repeat. The top comes is TWENTY DOLLARS! Swear! Comes in 8 color options. I wouldn’t say it’s cropped, but it is on the shorter side. Perfectly tucks into a pair of high rise jeans. Grabbed the blue for Bay and she loves it too! From 16 year old’s to 40 year old’s, I think this is a killer top!

Shared this pair of jeans a million times during the Madewell sale. Originally $138. Now $49. I paid $19. Stacked some promos and pulled the trigger. They do run a little larger, so if you’re into them – definitely size down. Trying to get into the wider legged jeans and these are helping!

The show stopper – the bag. How amazing is this pink chain bag? I can also be worn a clutch – the chain is removable. I grabbed it in the natural color too and it also comes in a real pretty green. They will be gone in NO TIME so scoop one up ASAP!

I personally do not own Golden Goose. 100% rock Bay’s sneakers. We’re the same size and for once, I am benefiting!!! They are so ridiculous expensive. I know, I get it. But, hot damn, I fucking love them. I haven’t found a dupe that compares. Bay also has the high top style that she personalized at the GG store in SF and they are pretty frickin cute.

WHAT I’M SHARING |

Better Days Co came out with my favorite caffeinated greens in a giant ass bag. The peach limeade is so good. I legit crave it everyday. One scoop/packet is 1/2 of your daily greens for the day. PLUSSSS, it comes caffeinated and without caffeine. Obvi, I prefer the caffeine. Use my code: xoxostacyb for a discount and try it out! You will thank me later!

Shared my Sonic Pink Scuba Oversized Funnel Neck Half Zip last weekend. Again, ridiculously expensive, but totally worth it. I prefer this style over the hoodie scuba. Found a $40 Dupe on Amazon that peeps swear by!

Finally tried the JSHealth Detox and Debloat Vitamins. And they work! You pop one after a meal or eating something that you probably shouldn’t lol.

I won a giveaway on Valley Athletica last month and was sent 2 pairs of leggings for Bay and I to try. I am loving the Everest Legging. Super high rise. Incredibly soft. Very flattering. And only $60! If you’re in the market for new leggings – give these a try!

Wrote my first blog post in for 2023 {12 things monday} full of random shit and some highlights.

Shared a Target Try-on this week for {Target Tuesday} with lots of cute + colorful new arrivals.

WHAT I’M MAKING |

I have been a busy bitch in the kitchen. This week I tried a few new recipes that we all liked. And you know that is a MAJOR win! First up – Half Baked Harvest Baked Crunchy Hot Honey Chicken. I served over green salad with Trader Joe’s creamy dill dressing. Delicious. I sliced 3 large chicken breasts in half so we ended up with 6 pieces of chicken. I’ve been using it in wraps + sandwiches + salads for lunches all week.

Another Half Baked Harvest recipe Spicy Lasagna Soup. And another WIN! I made the soup the night before and left out the milk and noodles so the following night – it took about 20 minutes to heat up and serve. So hearty and comforting on a cold ass evening.

My {double chocolate banana bread} which I can’t remember the last time I made. The sweet pictures of baby Claire back in out carpool days, melts my heart. The Willow Oak 4-H Baking leader messaged me last weekend that her young group of bakers each made a loaf of this bread. Made my whole day. So, I had to whip up a batch for our house. During out kitchen remodel I threw away EVERYTHING. Trying real hard to be a minimalist HA!! Anyway, I don’t have a loaf pan anymore. I reduced the time a little and baked this in a 9×9 baking dish and it turned out perfect!

Last night I shared a Protein Milkshake and got lots of questions about exact measurements. First off – I am no expert when it comes to nutrition. I am just upping my protein at the moment and trying to make good shit. Here’s what I did: 1 cup ice (I used pebble ice). 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (any milk you dig will do the trick). 1/2 cup Breyer’s Carb Smart ice cream. 1 serving of your favorite protein powder. Blend and top with 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips. ENJOY!!

I have the Clean Simple Eats variety pack: Protein Powder Variety Pack (10 Single Serving Stick Packs) Other than the Cotton Candy – they are all so good and perfect for this milkshake.
