I can’t remember the last time I shared a weekend notes. To be honest, our weekends have been pretty chill. We’re mastering the art of the homebody. Ha! It’s pretty amazing. Last week was a shit-show so I didn’t get on here much, but I’m hoping to get up a Target Tuesday + new recipe and maybe even a super easy Valentine’s day DIY!
Intentions for the Week:

- Movie date with Bay to see Doolittle

Highlights from the Weekend…..
Early mornings with this sweet girl. Charlie finally figured out how to pick up a tennis ball. It’s been pretty fun watching her try for a couple of days!
Whipped up these Strawberry & Cream Cinnamon Rolls for Bay. I took a little nibble and personally – I think they’re nasty. I also don’t like fruit either. Bay and Cory both said they liked them! They’d be super cute for Valentine’s day breakfast.
Watched both of my nephews play some ball. Joe kicked some major ass on the basketball court. Goooo #9!
Another morning, another Valentine’s Day-ish recipe. I think these are the sweetest waffles ever. I had eggs + veggies, but I’d assume anything in the shape of a heart just tastes better? Am I right?
I’m going to try an egg frittata in the waffle maker tomorrow morning! Stay tuned!

Philz coffee date with my girl!
And somehow I convinced Bay to walk the Davis Arboretum with me. It’s so pretty any time of the year. Nothing beats getting out for some fresh air!
Oh yeah – I bribed her to walk the Arboretum with Chipotle.
Bay’s order: large chips + queso with a side of carnitas. Looked heavenly!
My order: Paleo Salad Bowl. It’s amazing. Supergreens Lettuce Blend, Chicken, Fajita Veggies, Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa and Guacamole.
Picked up a couple of things downtown. Serendipity has these new doormats. They’re long and skinny with the best wording on them. I had a giftcard for Little Chances (baby store) and picked up a set of these adorable Copper & Pearl Bananas for Charlie. They work perfect on babies + dogs….who knew?
I showed up as Karen was unpacking these doormats. I grabbed the Oh Hello. But the I Hope you brought wine is pretty damn cute too. They’re $15….so get into Serendipity Boutique ASAP!

Coral Sweater ($22) | I saw this sweater at Target and had to have it. It’s crazy soft + cozy. But the color is what sold me. It’s such a bright + cheery coral color. Perfect for transitioning to Spring!
Denim (similar) | My jeans are sold out. I’ve linked a similar light wash pair that I think are super cute!
Booties (on sale) | They’re STILL on sale. Size up 1/2 size and get a pair. You’ll thank me later!
