Happy F-R-I-D-A-Y!!

Have you noticed that I haven’t shared much about Easter? Well friends, that’s because I haven’t done a single damn thing. Is it just me or did Easter just sneak up this year? This whole week got away from me. My list of impossible shit to get done is growing by the second. I’m not even stressed about it though. Fill Easter baskets. But first I need to buy the crap I plan to fill them with…Ha. Grocery shop. Set the table. Fill eggs. Anyone else on my level?

But, it’s Friday and I’ve got 5 things on my mind….so let’s chat about that……

ONE – Today wraps up my sugar fast/no booze week. I fucking did it. I feel fucking great. I even went to dinner with girlfriends last night and watched as they guzzled margaritas and ate tortilla chips. Let’s be real, it was fucking torture! I realized this morning, that I blew it and didn’t weigh myself before. Completely slipped my mind. My Doc pointed out yesterday that I was down 8 lbs from 2 1/2 weeks ago though! So we’ll just go with that. Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP!

Obvi I plan to celebrate with a big ass margarita + carbs tonight!! Annddd, I think I’m going to do another sugar fast after spring break. Who’s in?!?!

TWO – Scarlet Rae Roberts // On Tuesday, April 11th around 2:30 am I got a text “She’s here” with the most precious picture ever. After a night full of passing jokes and hospital selfie texts, we were on pins and needles waiting for this message.

I was so excited. Like Disneyland excited. I couldn’t sleep. So happy to see this sweet baby girl and her mama were happy + healthy!

Look at her little arm wrinkles. I DIE!!

THREE – My girl // Bailey is Spring Show ready. Each year she’s asked to come dressed in her Show whites for the April Willow Oak 4-H meeting. She stood in the front of the crowd and they go over what you need to wear. She absolutely LOVES this meeting. She tries to pretend it’s just so inconvenient, but it’s funny how she’s smiling like this the whole time. I’ve had a few messages asking where I got her jeans. Where do find the cap + scarf, so here we go….

Jeans – High stretch stain resistant super skinny jeans – Gap claims these to be stain resistant? We will be putting them to the test. Pig stain resistant? You can find Wraglers at Robben’s Dept Store (you’ve got to check this place out).

Shirt – Tack Warehouse – I’m still on the hunt for a short-sleeved white shirt, so if anyone has the secret where I can score one….hook a sister up. FYI – long sleeves are only required for rabbit and chickens, I believe.

Boots – Woodland Western Wear – The store next to Raleys. They have a good selection of kids boots. Of course she picked out the most expensive pair. She’s got good taste.

Belt – Gift from Grammy + Papa. It’s a silver “B” Buckle + the belt came separately. Tack Warehouse has cute options.

Hat + Scarf – Higby’s Feed – Go soon! They cater to Yolo county and Dixon May Fair is right around the corner too!!
