Happy Monday!  The weekend came and left in a flash.  But, it’s all good.  It’s a good week to have a good week.

Friday I headed to Lake Tahoe with a couple of my favorite ladies.  It’s our 3rd year attending the Celebrity Golf Tournament.  We have stories and crazy memories from the last two years that still keep us laughing our asses off.  This year was no different:)

I pulled off HWY 50 to show the girls Bridal Veil Falls.  In the 34 years I’ve traveled to Tahoe, I’ve always admired this waterfall.  It’s small but beautiful.  Water cascades over the mountain year round.  My sister stopped a couple of weeks ago to show me for the 1st time….and now I want to stop every time to admire it.

Obvi we stopped at the Strawberry Lodge for a round.  Played Janis Joplin on the jukebox.  Took a selfie, duh.

I actually bought it for the gym, but thought it kinda went with a summer weekend in Tahoe theme, so decided F it.  Only $12.99 at Target!!!

We had a nightcap at the biggest dive bar in Tahoe, Classic Cue.  We also go here each year.  And it never seems to disappoint.  The crowd is amazing.  Like they must truck these folks in from somewhere.  It’s unreal!  Friday night is Karaoke night….lol.  Yes, Sara + I sang a George classic and pretty much amazed everyone in the bar!  Kinda.

Saturday morning we woke up to a bear walking along the fence between our cabin and the neighbor’s house.  It was nuts!  I’ve never seen a bear in our neighborhood till last summer.  It was a big ass bear that we named Cinnamon.  Well, this bear that we saw this weekend looked like it could have been Cinnamon’s cub.  I missed the picture Saturday morning – little sucker was fast.  So Saturday evening when he reappeared, almost entering the neighbors house – I was bound and determined to get his ass on snapchat…lol.

Tahoe mornings are my favorite.  We always start slow.  Then move into a beverage 🙂

I saved this Chandon bottle for this weekend!  It’s so pretty.  But, not too pretty to drink!

Golf Tournament friends.  We’ve met up and partied that last two years, so it only made sense we’d do it again for round #3 this year.  We had a perfect spot at the 18th hole.  If you look behind me, you’ll see the beach is literally right there.  

When you decided that you’re only having one drink.  Haha.  I got the biggest vodka + lemonade I’ve ever seen.  Yes, Edgewood was serving individual drinks in pitchers.  I mean, I guess I could have shared, but they put a straw in it.  Which therefore makes it not for sharing, right?

I may or may not have had another, but what happens in Tahoe – stays in Tahoe.  Except for snapchat.

One of the golfers handed Riley a signed ball.  So cool!

I seriously failed at taking pictures.  We were having too much fun to pull my phone out.

I did manage to steal a couple of Timberlake, Curry + Ribeiro (aka Carlton)

You guys – they straight up did the “The Carlton” all together.  Amazing!  You have to check out the video – here!

And then we hit the casinos….

SUNDAY afternoon we checked out the Velocity Island Aqua Park.

and I finally figured out how to take a pano photo.  It only took about 15 tries, but I did it.

Bailey + Joe had a blast.  50 minutes of fun.  They looked exhausted when they were done.  I kicked it in the shade with all the other non-crazy parentals.

You can barely see them in the photos below.  They look like little Bay + Joe ants.

You’ve got to take your kiddos this summer.  Bay + Joe gave it a thumbs up and cant wait to go back.

They new Pirates Cove Aqua Park is open 7 days a week.

11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Sessions are 50 minutes long and start every hour on the hour.

Weekday pricing is $15/session.  Weekend $20/session

Must be 6 years old and at least 48 inches tall.
