I love a short work week.  I was in desperate need of a 4 day weekend.  Now that Thanksgiving is over, I’m in full Christmas mode.  Christmas tree this weekend too.  I CAN’T WAIT!!!

TWO – Thanksgiving adult table //  I used my parent’s wedding china that was handed down to me.  My parents collection is Mikasa Just Flowers. This 70’s floral china is pure nostalgia and I’m completely in love with it.  It may be outdated, but not to me:)  I try to use it every time I host a dinner party. And of course I pulled out everything gold I could find.  These chargers are $1.49 at Walmart and I used them throughout the year.  If only I had the gold flatware from last weeks {wednesday wish list}.

 

THREE – Elf On The Shelf returns Tuesday morning…FML.  I already have my alarm set for 9:30 pm every night.  The ONLY way I will remember to move that little fucker and not shatter Bailey’s belief in good ol’ St. Nick.  Kid’s are crazy for these little untouchable creepy eyed dolls.   I personally use it to advantage.  Bribery.  “Remember, Holly the elf is watching.”  Guarantee that room will be spic-n-span in seconds.  Stay tuned for marshmallow bubble baths,  teepeed Christmas trees and fishing elf mischief.  I will share TONS of fun/easy ideas.  I got yo back!

FOUR –  7th Annual Running of the Turkey’s.  5K run/walk benefitting Yolo Food Bank. Held on Thanksgiving morning each year in historic downtown Woodland.  Let me tell you, It was cooolllldddd.  We plan to make this fun little 5k our new Thanksgiving morning tradition.  It’s nice to get moving and get some fitbit steps in before a day of vegging and feasting.

 

FIVE – Camping //  We are off to the coast to camp with family + friends for the weekend.  Sally, Sally the Sun Chaser is all loaded up and ready to house us for the next couple of nights.  With high’s in the 50’s and low’s in the 30’s….it’s going to be colder than a witch’s tit.  Regardless, we always have such a great time.  The menu is set and the booze is bought.  I’m most looking forward to the coastal air + candy cigs + fresh oysters.
