{weekend notes}

And just like that….the weekend is over.  Two words, Good Times!!!

The weekend was dedicated to Lucky in Kentucky, Alpha Gamma Omega Nu’s largest fundraiser of the year.  Sara and myself took the reins, literally.  We chaired the 2017 event.  We switched it up from the former Denim + Diamonds to revamp the fundraiser.  I’d have to say, it went off without a hitch!   So many involved in making this event so successful.

Decorations committee killed it.  The theme was incorporated throughout the entire barn.  From the red roses to the former derby horse winners as table numbers.

Party Time // the dance floor was lit.  Is that how you say it?  lol!  We had a good time getting down.  The Hildebrad girls definitely bring it!!

I almost forgot, my road dog and I got to sneak off for a little fun in between.

Why does my 10 year-old look like a 15-year-old?!?!  FML!

Lunch at the golf course, because Bay claims they have the best nachos.  I can vouch, they are pretty damn good!  The view + my lunch date were pretty good too ♥

I binge watched 13 Reason Why.  Have you heard of it?  It’s teeny bopper-ish, but it gets you hooked.  I watched ALL 13 episodes!!  I can’t believe I just admitted that…haha.  Told you Netflix and chill 🙂

If you haven’t watched it yet, here’s what it’s all about…..

Newcomer Katherine Langford plays the role of Hannah, a young woman who takes her own life. Two weeks after her tragic death, a classmate named Clay finds a mysterious box on his porch. Inside the box are recordings made by Hannah — on whom Clay had a crush — in which she explains the 13 reasons why she chose to commit suicide. If Clay decides to listen to the recordings, he will find out if and how he made the list. This intricate and heart-wrenching tale is told through Clay and Hannah’s dual narratives.

Finished the night off with Mother’s Day dinner at the parental units.
