We had the best weekend!  Relaxed.  Spent time with family.  Made delicious food.  Stayed in bed till 9 am Saturday (#amazing).  Went to mass (#itsbeenalongtime).  Cleared the DVR.  Drank with my girls (#justalittletoomuch).    My house is clean and I meal prepped too.  Does it get any better than that?  Nope!  Monday, I’m ready for ya!

Friday night we stayed in with friends and indulged in my very favorite.  Pizza + wine!!  It’s seriously the best combo.

I got the kids pepperoni and olive.  And a veggie for us.  This pizza below is less than 160 calories per piece.  Crazy, huh?  You can customize any pizza at Papa Murphy’s and that’s exactly what I did.  Thin crust.  Olive oil instead of sauce.  Light cheese.  The toppings: tomatoes + artichoke hearts + olives + spinach + mushrooms.  So bomb.  And I didn’t feel like a cow after I ate a couple of pieces.  (I mean a few pieces)  lol.  Let’s keep it real.

Then to make this pizza fest even better…….

Baskin Robbins ice cream pizza.  Don’t get one…like ever.  You will eat the whole thing, guaranteed.  I’m not much of a sweets person, but this pizza right here is legit!  Check out all the combinations here.  Now through Friday, use code: POLARPIZZA for $2.00 off.  You’re kids will love you forever.  Look at those faces!!

Woodland Farmers Market // I was sad to see this is the last weekend for the farmers market.  Happy that we got to check it out though.

That is rosemary sourdough bread in Bay’s hand.  OMG!  It’s probably a good thing the market is over, because I would be back every weekend to get another loaf.

Woodland Jr. Wolves // I’m not a football fan AT ALL.  But, I do love watching my nephew play.  Goooo #4!!!

Dinner with these girls was probably the highlight of my weekend.  We’ve decided that we are going to make Saturday mass + dinner a monthly thing.  I know we should probably make it a weekly thing….baby steps peeps.  Catching up and laughing over my kitchen table makes me so incredibly happy.  And you can’t beat this company.

On the menu:

Butternut squash + chicken sausage lasagna

Roast carrots

Caesar salad

Rosemary sourdough bread

I’ll be sharing the lasagna recipe this week.  Stay tuned guys, it’s a good one.  Bailey prepared our fave roast carrots.  Seka Hills Olive Oil + Seka Hills Honey + salt + pepper + carrots.  Roast at 400 for 15 minutes.  They turn out killer every time.

Sunday Spa Day // Nothing more relaxing than sitting at the Cache Creek Pool.  With a drink in hand, of course.  And a bunch of babes.

We “misted” the Mom to be ♥

Heat hands and all…lol.

Can’t wait to meet Baby Fricke in 9 weeks.  I’m still thinking it’s a boy!  We shall see.

(missing Anna + Laine + Erin)

One of the last summery weekends of the year, so we soaked up all the sunshine + pool time as possible.  It was hot as balls!  We literally had the pool to ourselves for most of the time too…it was nice!

I’m sad to report that we didn’t strike it rich in the casino.  But, we did leave with a nice buzz…lol.

The struggle was real this morning.  I woke up at midnight and couldn’t go back to sleep…..Noooooo.  Luckily I went to bed at 7 pm so I still got some shut-eye.  Let’s just say I saw this on FB and it made me decide to not be a miserable cow and go to Kaia at 5am.  And I’m so happy I did.  Great workout today that got me going!

Bailey and I vowed to spend next weekend the exact same as this one.  Knowing that…I can make it through the long work week.  I’ve got my eye on the prize.  Happy Monday!  And don’t be a miserable cow, K!
