Guess what?  Starting August 22nd – my new goal to crush….tardiness.  Instantly I hear the song – “Don’t be tardy for the party” playing in my head.

I bet some of you are thinking, damn boo it’s about time.  Haha.

Guys, this is going to be HARDCORE.  If you know me, then you know that I’m allllwwaayyyyss late.  Like 15 minutes.  That’s so ugly.  Being late is one of the things I despise most about myself.  I’ve set my clocks back.  Didn’t help.  I wake up earlier.  Doesn’t help.  I’m habitually late for everything.  My Grandma once told me…”you’ll be late for your own funeral!”  LOL!  Thanks GG.  About 10 years ago, a co-worker told me (referring to another co-worker, let’s make that clear…lol) that being consistently late is ignorant.  It stuck!  I can picture him saying it and the way he said it.  Ewwww.  Have you ever looked up the meaning of ignorant?  It’s not pretty!  Reason #1 to change that shit!

I’m waiting till August 22nd, yes!  Why, you ask?  Because I need to wrap my head around how in the world I’m going to crush this goal.  Because I have to and want too.  And the 22nd is the first day of school.  Our “regular” routine will be back in action.  I can’t frickin wait.  I’m a creature of habit and routine is my thang.  I’m hoping that will help me kick off this on-time thing.  Pray for me peeps!

Kinda like this post……LATE!

Anyway – how was everyone’s weekend?  Ours was plan free, go with the flow.  Kinda nice for a change.

Friday night dinner + park with friends is the perfect way to end a crazy busy week.

Saturday was a total girls day.  Tennis lessons + Andee’s 1st pedicure (which was the seriously the cutest) + Taco Bell date + sleepover and even a little Midnight Mass.  Which I have to admit, was way more fun that I had imagined.

How gorg are these little blue-eyed cuties?

I’m a firm believer that a Sunday well spent brings a week of content.  And that’s exactly what we did.  Solo cups + bubbles in hand, of course 🙂  We had the Fliers pool to ourselves for over an hour before people started pouring in.

We wrapped up the weekend at SOL.  SOL on a Sunday is the best.  The Mariachi band played La Bamaba ♥  My favorite.  These girls loved it almost as much as I loved my margarita(s)…haha 🙂  Good times.
