{weekend notes}

Monday Funday? Can that be a thing? After a very relaxing weekend, I think I got my groove back? I think? I made it to the gym for the first time in 2 frickin weeks. So, that’s big plus. And to keep it real – working out is HUGE for my mental health, just saying. It sets the tone for my day. My week. My everything. So cheers to a new week, my friends!!

Only thing is – what is up with this weather? I want to bundle up in all the layers but it’s hot as hell.

I set a few simple intentions. Things got a little crazy last week so I need to get back on board + focused!

Intentions for the week:

Hydrate like a mo-fo (how can I drink wine like it’s my day job, but not water?)
Use the Weight Watchers App
Help Bay finalize her Halloween costume
Change up my armoire decor for Fall
Make an old recipe from the archives
Style a green utility jacket 4 ways
Go to the gym mom-fri (I skipped for two weeks) 😭
Keep my front porch mums alive. Anyone have tips?
Dinner with some of my fave gal pals
Dedicate a lunch break to my calendar/planner
Make healthy choices

I never got around to my Friday 5 post about my front porch. #life. But here she is. I kept it classic AF with orange pumpkins + mums.

Here’s a better look. Now if only I can keep the mums alive. What’s the trick? I never have any luck with them.

Highlights from the weekend……

Friday, I met the Pumpkin Pie Almonds. It’s actually a really, really bad thing. And I 100% blame Karissa. You guys, they are heavenly!

Friday’s #ootd. I’m currently obsessed with front tucked button down cardigans. And this one is on sale (40% off)

Friday evening I got to hang out with my girl Sarah. Didn’t take a single photo all night. We even went downtown and had a drink. But, I did get a photo of the salad I took over to her house. It’s Robins Famous Salad. You can find the recipe here: {friday 5}

Saturday I busted out my air fryer and got crazy. lol. As crazy as you can get with an air fryer! They hash browns are as good as Mc Donalds, says Bay. And the bacon came out perfect too.

And my Air fryer is on sale too!

I got crafty. Turned these mini pumpkins into tealight holders. I’ll share more about this sometime this week!

Moved some thing around the house. Diggin this $8 olive tree from Trader Joe’s. I need to re-pot it into something pretty.

Is it even October if you don’t throw a batch of these in the oven? If you know, you know!

I also never changed out of my PJ’s. THE. ENTIRE. DAY! Some may think that’s lazy AF, I call it #goals!

When sleep is overrated, you get up and make Bay her favorite blueberry muffins.

Boo’s or Coffee? You’ll never know 🙂

I love sneaking in to catch the tail end of Volleyball camp.

And the jumpsuit you guys all voted for last weekend. I ended up wearing the dress only because it felt a little dressier for the event. This jumpsuit is crazy comfy. Under $70. And I love the colors. It also comes in an ivory print just like this one. I had to rock-paper-scissors in Nordys lol. I think it would look super cute paired with a leather jacket too.
