Good morning!
How was everyone’s weekend? Hopefully very relaxing + full on sunshine. We kept it pretty low key and it was exactly what we were needing. After a busy few weeks, I was craving some stay-home time.
Intentions for the Week:
- buy all the pumpkins at Trader Joe’s
- hit my step goal
- lunch date with my new planner/calendar
- make a diy pumpkin centerpiece (that will last all season)
- get my ass to the gym
- start a mini reset
- 10 pm bedtimes…no matter what
- decorate the front porch for fall
- edit photos in advance
- drop off donations
- make a garage sale pile
- log all my food on the WW app

When coffee dates turn into lunch dates. Because you’ve still got so much to catch up on. My girl Nikki just got back from traveling for 30 days.
Mango Curry at Thai Pepper is the best. Avocado Curry is my #1, but they were all sold out.

When you hear a kid is slangin eucalyptus. You go get some! Going to incorporate this into my Fall table setting.

Impromptu day date
We headed to Winters to check out the new Patio 29 Spirits Company.

I tried the Cucumber Rosemary Gimlet. Cory ordered the Vodka Lavender Spritzer. Both drinks were so good. And it’s such a cool spot. Only downfall – you can only have 2 drinks. I guess that could be a good thing too…lol! It’s the kind of place you head for a pre-drink or post-drink.

Pit stop at Green River Taproom for dinner + live music. A women asked to take a picture of my grey hair. lol! She really was being contemplative, but we laughed so hard after she snapped a picture of my hair. Luckily I’m a good sport. Ha!

A man’s best friend. Cory + Callie por vida!

Pumpkin Spice Rolls in the oven. Bright and early Sunday morning.

I got lots of DM’s about them. The verdict: They are good, just not very pumpkiny at all. Which is good for us. We don’t really love pumpkin spice too much. Just wanted to try them out of curiosity.

viva le weekend
I woke up grateful for: my comfy bed. pumpkin szn and sweater weather. Because, I was wearing this sweatshirt even if I had to sweat my ass off.

Sunday Funday was off to a good start.
Davis Trader Joe’s is laggin on the pumpkin situation. So, we went to Roseville Trader Joe’s. Ha! We were actually headed that way anyway. But, I made all my pumpkin dreams come true. Spent wayyy too much, but my heart is full AF!

I seriously got all the good ones.

And Cory got his Bass Pro Shops fix.

We got to spend the afternoon with Cory’s mom. She just bought the cutest little home in Rocklin. And she showed us around her favorite brunch spot. Primo Pizza. Hands down the very best buffalo chicken salad I’ve ever had. Marilynn – I think we need to makes this a recurring brunch date 🙂

We got Bay registered for 4-H and she began her first week on Volleyball camp. And you better believe I was in bed by 9pm….again! It was a perfectly relaxing + productive weekend. I can’t wait to do it all over again next weekend. And maybe the next one after that too!
Have a great Monday friends and see you back here tomorrow for a new recipe.
