{weekend notes}

Intentions for the Week:

  • eat clean af
  • hit my daily step + water goals
  • pre-blog for next week
  • share all the things Easter
  • get my laptop set up
  • make a new recipe
  • go to bed early

This week on the blog: Easter Basket ideas. Spring self care ideas. Old Navy try-on. New recipe.

Highlights from the weekend…..

I tried Cryotherapy. My sister and brother in-law actually got me a gift card for Christmas. I’ve been wanting to try it out, to see what all the hype is a about.

First timers are $40. You go into a giant walk-in freezer. Not the chamber where your head sticks out of the top. It’s a 2 1/2 minute session. The first tuner package includes 2 other treatments. I did a localized session on my neck and shoulders. Which was really good. Then a 15 minute hydro massage – ah-fucking-mazing!! It felt as though I just had a real massage. I left crazy relaxed. I highly recommend trying it out.

Friday I challenged myself to a day of zero points. For some reason it felt so much harder than the last time. The buffalo lettuce wraps were delish and I will be making them on repeat.

Eggs + butternut squash zig-zags + arugula + feta.  My fave breakfast and it’s super filling.

These buffalo chicken cups were so good and packed with flavor and I will be making them on repeat!

Spent the day with my Mom. We checked out all kinds of spots I’ve been wanting to try.

Like the Midtown Farmer Market. That lemon meringue donut was to die for. And I don’t even care for donuts.

The coconut water was nasty AF. but it looked pretty.

Not your grandmas cup of tea

I’d rather be her shot of whiskey anyway.

Teaching Cory the art of a Birth-week. We celebrated again at the Giants game Sunday.

Such a fun day in the City by the Bay

We finally checked out the Cactus Jungle in Berkeley. Do yourselves a favor and add this to your Spring to-do list.

I was in heaven. Even Cory was impressed and that’s not easy to do. I can’t wait to go back and add to my collection.

Finished off the day at The Dead Fish.
