WEEKEND // Hope you all had a good one. It was short, sweet + oh so busy!
Friday was so good. Lunch with Korine + Alex + Spencer. We took so many selfies ♥ His smile is contagious!!
Happy first day back at work Alex! I already miss our 5 phone calls a day.
Saturday evening we went to the Fliers Club St. Patrick’s Day party. Stations were set up with Irish inspired drinks + eats. The Leprechaun sang and danced….probably the highlight to the night. I learned that Irish Car-bombs are awful and will never drink one again…ha. Unfortunately the clear tequila was flowing though.
I hope we are never too old to stop and take a random bathroom selfie together….with green beers in hand! Thanks for the laughs and the fun night ladies! We need to do that more often.
Saturday I headed to Salinas to visit the Hostert’s! Tall cans are a must when you’re planning to see Nicole + Lina. Although, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Nicole drink a beer. I guess I should rephrase that to Me + Lina…lol!
This was the text I sent them when I pulled on to John’s Street 🙂
I was Nicole’s date to the SUEF’s 27th Annual Hoedown.
We busted out our fancy boots and all!
These Salinas chicks know how to throw a fundraiser. I’ve been to plenty and never seen anything like this before. The decorations. The dessert auction. That bar card below went with the bundt cakes + booze. All the deserts came with a bottle of something. They know how to party! The food. The bar. The live + silent auction. They killed it! I got so many ideas for our Lucky In Kentucky event in May!!

Our table peeps where so fun too! Other than trips back and forth from the bar, I sat and laughed with these people all night. Good times!
Reunited. A Lina sandwich!
My Hawaii girls 🙂
Nicole + Julie + Myself at the beginning of the night. I want Julie’s Frye boots so bad. Aren’t they super cute?!?!
We woke up Sunday morning to this sweet girls 7th birthday!

And a donut + breakfast burrito delivery from Julie’s husband. You read that right. He brought us the famous Salinas breakfast burritos! I can’t leave without at least one each visit.
Even though Woodland misses the Hostert’s like crazy, It makes my heart happy to see all the amazing friendships Nicole has made in Salinas ♥
All good weekends must come to an end. I could have stayed just one more night in Salinas though!
