….and the booze! Fair week is finally over. Thank you baby Jesus. Most of my weekend was spent double fisting…see the proof below. I don’t think my body could handle another corn dog or keg beer.
If only I could ctrl + alt + delete the weekend damage away…lol.
I’m sooooo ready for Kaia BRIK to start and get my ass in check. You know what that also means? I will once again post about my pre/post BRIK results. BRIK begins next week – sign up girls….you don’t want to miss out! I have a feeling this time around is going to be tough, but I’m ready for the challenge and the results.
FRIDAY
Plainfield Ice Cream Social // these gorgeous girls are 5th grade mustangs. Their little crew got split up between the two 5th grade teachers this year. Lucky for us, both teachers are equally amazing so we have nothing to worry about!!
Big shout out to Gentry’s Closet for our new Plainfield PTA t-shirts. We all rocked them at the ice cream social.
Let’s take a minute to acknowledge all these hard-working mama’s. So many fun changes this year. I’m excited to still be part of such a great team.
A little Derby time too…..
Bailey got to ride with Papa + Joe Saturday morning. She told me she whipped some kids on the track…lol. Gotta love her.
Back to the derby for round two with these babes!
Sunday // we celebrated Bailey’s 10th birthday with a friend party. We’ve declared this to be her last “big” party. So we clearly needed to go all out one last time. She picked a flamingo theme. Thank you Destiny for all your decorations!! Timothy’s Bakery killed it with her cake again this year.
A few years back we started a tradition (if you’re a reader, then you know I’m a holiday/tradition whore). Once we figure out a party theme. Bailey picks our the type of cake and frosting she’d like. Funfetti was the winner this time. Who doesn’t love the good ol funfetti? Especially Timothy’s!! Then I get to pick out how we pull it together with the party theme. When we pick up the cake it’s a total surprise to Bailey 🙂 And she LOVED it!
The invites were flamingo/black +white….so this cake was by far the easiest. I found the adorable flamingo candles on Etsy. Even the staff at Timothy’s knows our tradition. The girl who helped us said she remembered us from the last two years.
