We celebrated Benny Bear’s 6th Birthday with a little board breaking.

Sunday was pretty much the best day I’ve had in the last 20 days. Yessss! It was the end of our 20-day sugar cleanse. Well, kinda! Sarah P + I did it together. This chick right here is a bad ass. She was basically sober for 20-days. Which is really fucking hard to do…lol. I failed at the booze free part. Like, really bad. I stuck to the food part though and got results!!
Results:
Combined we lost 15 lbs in 20 days!
This image is me, but this Sunday..Ha! I cant wait to #chardsohard and slam some carbs!! The weekend is here. I have hardly any plans. Which means Bay + I are going to kick it hard. Starting tonight with Valentine making. And I’m pretty sure she’s going to whip up some cookies too..lol. Have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine…while it lasts. I washed my car today, so it will for sure rain soon!
FIVE things on my mind…..
ONE – Origins Charcoal Mask // Doesn’t everyone do face masks with their kiddo and watch This Is Us on Wednesday nights? It’s kind of our new thing. I’ve read some many great reviews about the ever so trendy charcoal masks. So I did my research and purchased Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask from Nordy’s. Here’s the scoop…..the active charcoal clears clogged pores while the clay absorbs toxins. Sign me up!
Bay only left hers on for about 5 minutes. It does get pretty tight as it dries and she totally freaked out…lol.
I left mine on for about 20 minutes. I recently acquired sensitive skin. Not fun! This didn’t irritate my face at all. Left my face smooth as a babies butt + clear + refreshed. I will be using this poop looking (as Bay said) mask on a weekly, that’s for sure.
TWO – Since love is in the air. Kinda! I found these Valentines Day cards on Brickyard Buffalo this week. I mean come on, aren’t they perfect. I’m so glad I swiped right…LOL!!
Anyway, they are on sale for 2 more days and only cost $3.50. You can’t even find a Hallmark card for $3.50 in this day and age.

It’s THURSDAY!! Almost the end of THURSDAY! I meant to post this sooner…and I got distracted and forgot. You guys, I could eat a house today. After that killer Kaia workout this morning, all I can think and talk about is FOOD. Please tell me I’m not the only one? Those Kaia squat thrust with a push-up, then a hop, turn, down for another squat thrust. What was that even called? I think Mallory made that shit up.

You guys, this recipe is what I call HANDS-OFF! It’s a dump + go. Ha…that sounds bad. Throw and go sound better? You know what I mean!! The slow cooker does all the work for you! And the outcome is a hearty + healthy + delicious meal you and your peeps will dig.
This is a spin on the classic white chicken chili….only difference is the quinoa. And you’ll be happy you added it!

These are a few of my favorite things. Workout edition!! I’m beyond picky when it comes to workout gear. If it slips, it’s gone. If it can’t handle sweat, it’s gone. High waisted ONLY. Lightweight. And comfy too.
That’s a lot of shit I have to look for when buying workout gear.

It’s Friday! Is it just me, or did this week just fly by? I was productive AF! Checked so many things off my to-do list.

I like to make sure my shit is done before a fun weekend. Work hard, play harder!!! Now if only I could drink margaritas tonight…that would be a perfect Friday activity.
I’ve got 5 things on my mind today…..
ONE – Omega Nu Pledge Party // Tuesday night our new pledges threw a party for all the Omega Nu sisters. They pulled off such a great night. The food + booze (I didn’t partake…boo), the company were all perfect. The activity: floral arranging. I have to admit, I seriously suck at making pretty arrangements. For instance, I buy them at the store, cut the cellophane off and hurry up and shove them in a vase before they get messed up. LOL. They had step-by-step instructions that made it so easy. Have I mentioned my love for eucalyptus? Everyone put together beautiful arrangements. Best part, we get some pretty cool new sisters to join the group ♥

TWO – Heritage Plaid Infinity Scarf // I’m not much of a scarf girl, but I have been rocking the shit out of this one. I got it as a Christmas gift and have probably wore it 6 times since. Super warm. Super soft. Easy to wear. Goes with everything.
I went to link it today and it’s currently sold out…boo. Good news, it was sold out when I put it on my Christmas list too. Chances are it will be restocked.

THREE – Divorce on HBO // Did anyone watch the first season? If so, LUCKY bitch!!
Sarah Jessica Parker returns to HBO in the new comedy series, Divorce. Parker stars as Frances, a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought.
First off, I absolutely LOVE SJP. Not so much her Golden Globes gown though. I watched the first Divorce episode the other night. HBO totally fucking tricked me. You see, I don’t have HBO. So when I clicked on it and the whole first episode was available to watch, I was pumped!! SCORE!! Want to know how they tricked my ass? I got so hooked. And I could ONLY watch the first episode. Which was sooooo good. After the episode was over, it gave me instructions on how to order HBO. Well done HBO, Well done. I’m actually considering adding the damn channel just for this show.
