Happy Friday!! I am doing the happy dance today because the weekend is here and detox week is over. Well, almost over. Close enough.
You know the drill….5 things on my mind:
ONE – Bailey wanted in on the #ootd. She totally copied my {tennies + denim} outfit from yesterday. It was so cute that I had to share. You cant really tell in this photo, but her jeans are a little distressed too. And she stole one of my necklaces…lol. God I love her 🙂
TWO – Farm Fresh To You // have you ever tried it? It’s legit.
Growing organic produce since 1976, Farm
Fresh To You harvests over 60 types of fruits
and vegetables and offers over 14 different
types of produce boxes for delivery to homes
and offices in areas of California.
Here’s the scoop – You select which box you’d like delivered. They range from mixed fruit + veggie, no cooking, fruit only and veggie only. You then can select what items you NEVER want to come. Me, I selected peas…yuck! Then a couple of days before your box is packed and shipped, you will receive an email asking if you’d like to customize further. Adding different produce, mixed flowers, honey, nuts….the list goes on. There are hundreds of options to choose from. You can receive weekly, bi-weekly or even monthly shipments.
Deliveries in my neighborhood are Tuesdays. Bright + early Tuesday. Before I leave for Kaia, it’s already on my doorstep.
Here’s what came in my box. I did customize to match the ingredients for my food plan for the week. I used every single item.
I made butternut soup + roasted some of the veggies + used the avocados in salads and toppers + sliced the apples. Every item was delish. With a promo code, this cost me $11. Pretty good, huh? Check out their website. Click here to learn more about how to sign up.
Icing on the cake (my sweet tooth made me type that)….use promo code: STAC8163 and receive $10 off your first shipment. Whoop Whoop!
THREE – I finally mastered the smoothie! This is a BIG deal peeps. I must have made 10 flops before I found the perfect combination of fruits + veggies. They were so bad. Have you ever accidentally added a salad mix instead of straight spinach? FYI – Arugula and smoothies don’t mix, trust me. My next problem was finding a protein powder that I liked. The textures really threw me off. I sampled Vega, Shakeology, Arbonne and finally Jay Robb, which I loved and purchased. Shakology was a close second. BIG thanks to Nikki for introducing me to Jay Robb 🙂 I have been drinking the same protein shake every single morning since.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- handful spinach
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- spoonful chia seeds
- 1 scoop Jay Robb
It comes out perfectly smooth and is so satisfying. I cant believe I’m going to say this, but I sometimes crave it in the mornings.
FOUR – So, I went to Target the other day to grab shampoo + Bailey’s valentine goodies. And I came home with this Marble serving tray too. Duh. You can’t pass up shit this good when you see it at Target. This is the current coffee table situation, but the options are endless. I just picture a cheese + cracker appetizer. Or some fancy chocolate truffles. Even a bottle of wine + wine glasses for a girls night. I’m drooling just typing….Is detox week over yet? This bad boy weighs close to 10 lbs. Solid marble with a gold rim and handle. For $29.99. It’s Pottery Barn/Restoration Hardware quality!! Get one, quick!!

What kind of Jay Robb protein did you like? I see there are multiple flavors and both Whey and Egg White proteins. (I’m always looking for a good protein!)
Hi Beth –
I bought the egg white vanilla. It’s so good and smooth. I love it. I’ve also tried the egg white chocolate and liked it equally.
I bought 8 out of 10 too!! Look at me, I didn’t even know I was being healthy!! whoop, whoop!!
